Jacie Jones | C

o-founder & CEO

Jacie manages PFG’s growth and strategy.

With over a decade of experience in East Africa, Jacie has served as a manager and/or consultant for a variety of ventures focused on supply chain development, smallholder training and extension, producer certification, and environmental marketing.

Prior to Perennial Foods Group, she advised startup founders in the San Francisco Bay Area and worked as a regional manager at TechnoServe. Jacie originally hails from Wisconsin, where she grew up on a small family farm.

Paul Hollwedel | Field Ops Director

Paul focuses on growing The Perennial Foods Group footprint across East Africa while optimising lead operations with small farm agriculture.

Prior to PFG, Paul worked with One Acre Fund, in western Kenya and northern Nigeria. In Nigeria, he led the pilot program during its first two years, adapting the program model to the Nigerian smallholder farmers.

Before his career in African agriculture, Paul was an Infantry Captain with the US Marine Corps.

Samantha Stevens | Production Director

Samantha is PFG’s head of agronomy and growing.

Sam is a highly qualified horticulturist and business owner with extensive international experience in the agricultural, farm forestry and fresh produce industries. Her lifelong passion for trees and soil mychrozia has fuelled her professional focus on incorporating permaculture, syntropic and farm forestry into growing models, many of which she has built from the ground up.

Prior to joining The Perennial Foods Group, Sam worked as a Farm Manager and consultant supporting both start-up and innovative agricultural businesses around the world.

Andrew Weiler | Business Ops Director

Andrew led PFG’s entry into agri-processing as Commercial Manager of Kib before transitioning to lead all of PFG’s internal operations - including people, finance, and business intelligence.

Prior to The Perennial Foods Group, Andrew worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company, where he advised clients across multiple sectors in the US and in Ethiopia. Andrew’s family is engaged in farming in the US.
